Semper Fidelis Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 880
 
Routine business meeting, Monday 21st October 2024 the Masonic Temple, St. Annes.
Twentyone Brethren present including two visitors: WBro. Tony Cross and WBro. Paul Smedley.
The opening ode was sung to get the evening going and things could only get better from there on!
The WM. Bro. Michael Notman opened the meeting in an excellent manner.
Salutations were given to the Grand Officers and Provincial Officers, who all suitably responded.
The business on the summons was worked through and then two Grand Lodge certificates were presented to Bro. Whyman and Bro. Porter by WBro. Tony Cross. The two Brothers having been Advanced in the April meeting.
Once all the business of the evening had been carried out, the WM closed the Lodge and the obligatory photos were taken.
All the Brethren retired to the bar area for refreshments and the festive board, which was accompanied by lively discussion and a great atmosphere with an excellent dinner of: Broccoli & stilton soup and then Cumberland sausage, mash potatoes, green beans and gravy followed by coffee.
A raffle organized by Bro. David Pallister Charity Steward raised £110!
A great night was had by all!
Next meeting in December is hopefully going to be an Advancement Ceremony which WBro. Mark Brown IPM is undertaking.
